Apply to sell — it takes a few minutes. Alkemy is curated, so our team reviews every application and sets up your store with you. When it is ready, we email you a link to claim it, then you choose your plan, finish setup and go live.
Yes, when you claim your store by the date in your invite: the plan you choose during setup starts with a 14-day free trial, one per store. You are not charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then in Settings › Plan.
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime in Settings › Plan. The change applies right away and the difference is prorated, so you only pay for what you use. Switching during your free trial keeps the trial going. No penalties either way.
You take everything. Full CSV export of all customer data, order history, and product listings. We also provide a data migration guide. Your customers' email addresses are always yours — never masked.
The transaction fee is a percentage of the product sale price (excluding shipping and tax): 8% on Starter, 5% on Growth and 1.5% on Enterprise. It's deducted from each sale via Stripe Connect. Your customers pay you directly — we never hold your revenue.
No contracts, no minimums. Plans can be cancelled anytime. If you cancel, your store stays active until the end of the billing period. No exit fees, no penalties.
You do — through your own Stripe account. Alkemy uses Stripe Connect with direct charges, meaning you are the merchant of record. We never touch your revenue. Stripe fees (2.9% + 30¢) are separate from Alkemy's transaction fee.
Our content quality system powered by AI. It automatically reviews product listings for quality standards, prevents spam, and ensures every vendor on Alkemy meets our curation bar. It protects the marketplace for both vendors and shoppers.
